Night Time Routine

Motor, Tiger and I usually go to bed at the same time. First they have to run around and bite one another until I can't take it anymore. Then I send them downstairs. Then Motor starts crying and I HAVE to let him back up, which means Tiger also. Slowly, they make their way back to the bedroom, jump on the bed, pick out their spots to lie on, then they settle down.

Actually there is a couple of other steps for each before settling. Tiger has to go to the window and look outside for a while. We have had some racoon lately so it has been very exciting. While Tiger is at the window, Motor is trying to get my attention while I am trying to read. He purrs and purrs and purrs. And he rolls around on his back like this.


Now when your kitty is looking at you like this, you have to put your book down and pet his belly. There is no better spot to pet on a cat then their belly. It's soft and warm and furry and it takes a lot of trust from your cat to let you do that.

My little Motor. Actually he is not that little anymore. But he really is the SWEETEST cat and I am so glad he is a part of my family.
