Just Another Warm Summer Night?

Earlier in the week, my husband and I were watching the world news and the weather map came on screen. It was showing how warm it was in the states across the country. My husband asked me if anything stood out to me looking at the map. All the temperatures were 70s, 80s, 90s and 100+. Except...for where we live. Northern California was the only area with temperatures in the 50s.

We have been so cold here. Unbelievable, but true. This is a few photos I had my husband take of me last night. I wanted to share how I had to dress to stay warm.

OK, so I have a sweat shirt on under my polar fleece jack, flannel pants, socks and a blanket. Then, for added warmth, I was able to coax Tiger, my cat, to lay on my lap. Because he is so large, he fits on my legs from top to bottom.

So I am just wondering, if it is this cold in the summer, what are we going to experience in the winter?

Sheesh! We're setting a record for triple-digit days in a row in Las Vegas...finally had rain last night to cool things off--to 90!

Love Tiger on your legs...he's LARGE!

Happy World Cat Day!

How cute...it's too hot for blankies here, unless you're a Cornish Rex or a Sphynx, hahameow!
