2 New Kitty Pins

These 2 pins were made by me out of polymer clay. Polymer clay is a low fire, bake in the oven clay. If you are familiar with fimo clay, then you know what polymer clay is. The ink from a black and white copy is transferred onto the clay and then the clay is heated and the transfer becomes permanent. The images used are copyright free drawings.

Both pins are approximately 2"x2" in size and are $12.00 each (and postage).

Kitty Photo Necklace

This necklace is all sterling silver. The snake chain is 18". And the photo charm is 1" tall by 7/8" wide. The window of the charm is shaped in a heart shape. Hanging from the top of the photo charm are cultured pearls and crystals with an AB finish. Though I have a photo of my cat in the charm, this charm can be used with a photo of your baby, child, boyfriend, husband, etc.

New Cat Jewelry

Free time seems to be hard to get around here. Right now as I am trying to blog, my kitten is sleeping and purring in my arms. If Tiger is not around for play time, then Motor wants to have me hold him. It is very sweet and I remind myself he is getting bigger everyday and to be present with him now. Do I sound like a mom or what? A cat mom is just perfet for me.
I had a few minutes to get some new cat jewelry photographed today. Here they are.

These earrings are made with beads I ordered from Asia. This cat is called Maneki Neko, known as Welcoming Cat, Lucky Cat, Money cat or Fortune Cat. This is a common Japanese symbol, believed to bring good luck to the owner.

This next pair of earrings are made with crystals and cat heads made out of fimo clay. Fimo is a low fire, bake in the oven clay.

I have these listed for sale at my ShopHandmade site. Take a look for more details if you like.

A New Online Jewelry Store

I decided to try another online handmade shopping site last week. This one is called "Shop Handmade". If you click on the ad on the right that says "Shop Handmade," it will take you right to my store. The reason I decided to set up a shop there is for more exposure. Etsy is chock full of jewelry artists and it is difficult to stand out amongst the crowd. "Shop Handmade" also gives it's artists the option of donating a portion of our sales to help save the world's rainforests. This is something I think is very important and I will be donating.

The above 2 jewelry pieces are available in my store at Shop Handmade. I will be making and adding more cat related jewelry as time goes on so take a look periodically. You may find a piece that is just right for you.
