The Eyes of Motor

This is Motor, hiding in the bathtub from Tiger. Tiger has been chasing him, so he decided to come into the bathroom with me.
This hiding in the tub really worked. Tiger is no where to be found.

But I did get a chance to get some great photos.

Motor Goes to Work

Every morning when I go downstairs to my kitchen with the Orange Boys, Motor has to go stand by our door to the garage and meow.  Day, after day, after day.  So my husband decided he must be going off to work.  What kind of work does Motor do?
There he is at the base of the stairs.
Well, he has to keep the garage safe from lizards, worms and bugs.  And by keeping the garage safe, he brings the lizards and worms and bugs up to me, to show me his catch of the day.  Many times his "prizes" are only half dead.   Then I have the joy of disposing them and putting them out of their misery.
Everything gets a thorough inspection.

Yesterday, I decided that I wasn't going to let him down there anymore.  It's too dirty and cold.  I just thought it would be better to have him stay out of there.  I told my husband that Motor would not be going to work.  But while I was making breakfast, Motor just sat by the door waiting.  Then the meows started.  Motor is almost 5 but he still has a kitten meow.  So he used his kitten meow on me, and I was just puddy in his paws.  "OK Motor, I will let you go downstairs."  Shows how much resolve I have when it comes to Motor.

Motor

Motor has a new toy. We call it "the tunnel." It's this cool tube with a opening in the center that he can look out of. I have been looking for something like this for a while for them.

We like to play with toys with the tunnel. I coax him in the tunnel by dangling toys in the opening or the opposite end from him, and then he charges through the tunnel to get them.

Sometimes Motor just hangs out in the tunnel when Tiger is being cranky. It's his little get away.

We are running out of room with all the toys and the medium and large size things I buy to entertain my boys. We are pretty lucky that my husband, for the most part, just ignores the toys all around, in the bedrooms, hallway, living room, kitchen. You get the idea.

We are happy with the new tunnel. Especially Motor. He would recommend a tunnel to all his friends. He gives it his kitty paw of approval.

My Motor

I love the way the outdoor light, lights up his face.

And then, he turned and looked right at me.

We're Back!

Motor: Tiger! Tiger! We're back. Mom finally figured out that photo thing and now we get to blog again and add pictures. Mom needs the computer right now but she said, as soon as she is done, the computer is our's.

Hooray, hooray!

Back from Vacation

Dad: All right Motor, we're finally home.

Dad: There you go.

Motor: Boy, it feels good to be out of that suitcase. I can finally stretch my legs. All 4 of them.

Dad: Hey, don't go away yet. You need to help unpack.

Motor: All right. But then I have to go find Tiger. I need to run around and play after that cramped plane ride. Next time we need to fly 1st class. They just don't give us enough room in coach.

Motor: Where do you think Tiger and Mom are? I missed them.

Motor: There's Tiger! Hey Tiger, I'm home. Did you miss me?

Tiger: Miss you? Did I miss you? You left me here with that crazy deaf cat and Mom with her camera. Flash, click, flash, click. That's all she does. Tiger, look here, Tiger, look there. Oh you look so cute Tiger, kiss, kiss. Next thing I know she will be photographing me using the litter box. So did I miss you? You bet!

Tiger: Next time, I'm going on vacation and you get to stay home.

Going to Montana

Tiger: While Dad talks to Motor about his trip to Montana...

Tiger: I'm going to sneak inside his suit case to go with him. I need a vacation! Northern California has been so drab.

Tiger: Ahhh... A perfect fit!

Tiger: Oh no, Motor sees me. (Motor on left)

Tiger: I'll have to distract him. "Hey Motor, come to the window. Smokey is outside."

Tiger: This didn't work at all as planned. Motor got in my suitcase!

Tiger: Oh great, now what do I do?

Tiger: I'll have to create another diversion.

Tiger: "Motor look, the racoons are outside. And it's not even dark out."

Motor: "Tiger, you can't trick me out of this suitcase. I need a vacation too!"

Motor: "OK Dad, I'm ready to go."

Motor Wants Some Fun

Motor: Tiger, hey Tiger, let's play!

Tiger: Motor, can't you see I'm trying to relax here?

Motor: But Tiger, I'm bored.

Tiger: Go ask K.C. Maybe she wants to play.

Motor: K.C. How about you? Do you want to play?

K.C.: Motor, don't you see I'm busy cleaning.

Motor: Oh, you two are no fun at all.

Tiger: Ahhhhhhhhh... a little time alone.

My Little Rascal

Guess who? It's my little rascal Motor. Every time I hang my clothes to dry, Motor has to climb the clothing rack. It reminds me of being a kid and climbing the monkey bars at our local park. Motor just makes me laugh with the antics he tries. He is my little bundle of joy.
